Where can I get my marriage license?
Take a look at the wedding page, there is information on both Los Angeles and Orange county there.

Do we both need to be there to get a marriage license?
Click on the county link in which you live on the wedding page. That county page will have the most current answer.

How much will a basic wedding cost?
I have packages to met the needs of most couples, simply take a look at the wedding page.

I was married at the courthouse, can I still have a wedding?
Yes, you can. If you choose to have a “fancy” wedding now, that is fine. The celebration of your wedding can take place at any time.

I was married on Monday by a Minister, but had my wedding on Friday - what is my wedding date?
The day that you stood before the minister and said I Do with your marriage license in hand. Married on Monday, with a wedding on Friday = married on Monday.

We eloped (no one knows), then got married in front of friend and family later – which day do we celebrate?
Both if you like. Your legal wedding date in the day in which you actually stated you vows before a minister, for the first time with your marriage license in hand, and that minister signed off on it.
Now, if no one is aware of that date and think that the day in which you had your wedding is your wedding date, you could have a private celebration of your private wedding date, and celebrate your public day with your family and friends.

I want to get married in 2 days can you help me?
If you already have your marriage license, I am not booked and payment can be made – Yes I can help you.

Do you offer planning services?
I do go over the wedding ceremony at the rehearsal, but no other planning services are offered at this time.

I want to write my own vows, is that ok?
Yes, just let me know in the consultation.

We don’t know what to say for our vows, can you help?
I can assist with pointing you in the right direction. Writing your own vows should come from the heart; a personal tribute to your loved one. Think of words that express how that person makes you feel, or take lines from a poem you both enjoy. No matter where you get the words, they should be special and personal to just the two of you.

I want to write my own vows, but may forget them, can you read them?
Yes, I can state them, and you repeat after me. Let me know in the consultation that is what you wish to do.

I want a really short ceremony, is that possible?
It is possible. In our consultation we will go over the amount of time you have at the location, so the ceremony does not run long.

I want a long ceremony, is that possible?
It is possible. Depending on the package that you choose, it may run longer than you expect anyway, so please mention your desired length. If you still wish to have it longer, choosing a customized ceremony may be the solution.

How do I reserve my wedding date with you?
One-half of the wedding ceremony is needed as a retainer. Travel may be additional.

Can I pay for the entire wedding in advance?
Yes, if you like, but only ½ is needed to reserve your date.

When is the balance due?
2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Do you accept Pay Pal?
Yes. There is an additional 4% charge for using PayPal, however. Remember, your personal information is never received by me when using PayPal. Pay Pal simply informs me when the payment has been made.

What payment methods do you accept?
PayPay (for internet payments with credit cards, checks, cash transfers), personal checks, money orders and cash.

Its only 3 days until my wedding and my balance isn’t paid, what can I do?
Met with me and pay in cash or pay via PayPal. Personal checks will not be accepted unless issued via PayPal.

How long does it take to get my copy of my marriage license from the CountyClerk’s Office?
One county may take 2 weeks to process, the other 6 weeks. Check with the clerk’s office when you apply for your license for the best answer. 

How many witnesses do I need?
California only requires one, but there is a space for two signatures.

Why are there two signature lines?
In a traditional wedding setting, the Matron/Maid of Honor and the Best Man would sign.

Who do you suggest be my witness?
I always suggest that you ask 2 people, just in case one person is not able to make it after all.

Do my witnesses have to live in California?
No, they do not.

We are doing a renewal of vows, do I need to get another marriage license? No, you don’t. This ceremony is more of a celebration than a legal one.
